Suffering from burnout, elementary school teacher Sandra Cranston is on leave and trying to eliminate stress from her life. That plan is blown when she discovers an abandoned carriage deep in the woods. Inside is a man, Jerrod Ross, who fuels all of her wicked Regency dreams and fantasies. Take him home? Sure, why not?
Jerrod Ross has been ripped from the only world he has ever known—1821 Cornwall, England. A mine owner with many responsibilities, all he wants to do is return to his time. But his growing attraction for the lovely lady who found him makes staying in the future a temptation he finds hard to resist.
Torn between duty and desire, past and future, the hardest thing Sandra and Jerrod will do is admit their feelings. Or say—goodbye.

Timeless Heart was in Kindle Unlimited for over 9 months and it did well. But as far as my self-publishing efforts, I have decided I only want one book in Kindle Unlimited at a time. I have a re-release coming up I will put in KU soon.

Now available at the following vendors:

Excerpt:

Sandra, with eyes closed, soaked in the lush bubbles, her head resting on the bath pillow. She’d been tempted to go to Jerrod’s room and knock on the door and offer comfort and sympathy, but ultimately decided to leave him in peace. Could she have handled the conversation between them any better? Hardly. Jerrod had to be told what she found out, and she couldn’t blame his reaction either. The look of raw devastation on his handsome face cut straight through her heart. She hurt for him. Maybe she should check on him after her soak.
A deep sensuous voice filled the silence. “Move forward, Sandra.”
Gasping, her eyes snapped open.  “I thought you retired for the night?”
“I’ve had a change of heart.” He gave her a brief, but sensual smile. “I am not a man who wallows for long in a state of piteous self-indulgence. In fact, I am more of a man of action.”
Jerrod stood next to the tub gloriously naked. And aroused. What a delicious sight. Taking a moment to savor the view, she realized things between them were moving in a different direction tonight. The prospect of sex with this man amped her desire right off the charts. Good thing she owned an old-fashioned clawed foot tub that could easily accommodate them both. As she slid forward, Jarrod stepped in behind her and sank to his knees, gently pulling her against his hard chest. Slowly and with purpose, he stroked her skin.
“Allow me to wash you,” he whispered. His arousal pressed heavy and thick against her back. While massaging her scalp, he laid kisses along the exposed part of her neck setting her skin ablaze. With a flip of the cap of her bottle of bodywash, the odor of grapefruit filled the air. He moved his gel-covered hands in circular motions on her neck, then down to her shoulders. “Still not fond of the scent, but on you it is quite enticing,” he murmured. White, foamy suds oozed through his fingers while he lingered on her breasts. She reached for a washcloth and with a trembling hand, held it behind her.
“Maybe you would like to use this,” she whispered.
“I want no impediment between my hands and your glorious skin,” his husky voice rumbled.
Obviously, what in hell was she thinking? What did she know about bathtub seduction rules? Sandra threw the damp cloth across the room where it landed with a splat against the toilet tank. No impediment. Check.

Excerpt: Sandra winked then picked up the shave cream and dispensed some into her hands, mixed it between her palms, and spread a thin film over his face. In response, he spread his legs wide, allowing her to step in closer. Good God, he was hard as stone. All this talk of shaving, the touching, her nearness. Jerrod gazed up at her, his heart thumping madly in his chest.
Though she appeared somewhat nervous, he definitely could see desire swimming in her lovely eyes. How satisfying. Picking up the Fusion, Sandra flicked the button and a low hum filled the silence surrounding them. When her breasts slightly brushed by his cheek, he couldn’t stop the low growl from rumbling deep in his chest. Using one finger, he swiped away the bit of shave cream from her sweater, right on the nipple. Barely there contact, but enough to have the simmering flame between them roar to life.
He slid across the seat so his thighs touched her leg, reached behind her back, and eased her down until she sat on his leg. “Shave me,” he whispered hoarsely. Sandra held the razor to the base of his throat and began a slow ascent to his chin. She twisted, turning toward the sink, and ran the razor under warm water before turning back to him. Giving him a soft, sultry smile, she scraped him again.
Her free hand followed the ascent of the blade, gently caressing his shaved cheek. God, he was tempted to kiss her right then, instead he leaned back and let her tender strokes lull him into relaxation. Closing his eyes, he came to the realization he could become used to this very easily. Some minutes passed and Sandra continued with her task. In his time, he usually shaved himself since he was not keen to have a valet fussing around him. However, having her sitting in his lap perilously close to his throbbing erection, with her warm, sultry breath surrounding him, appealed to him greatly.
“Kiss me,” he commanded, keeping his voice low and quiet. Setting the razor on the counter, she patted his face dry with a cloth, then leaned in and laid her lips against his. A jolt of heat rolled through him. Tilting his head, Jerrod delved deeper, cupping her cheeks to hold her still while he tasted her. Sweet and hot, like a dish of honey warmed over the flame. He swiped his tongue along her plump lower lip and she opened in invitation. The kiss grew fierce, both of them hungrily exploring. Sandra met the thrusts of his tongue with insistent plunges of her own. Passionate. Intoxicating. Yes. This was a kiss worth traveling through time for.

THE BARON AND THE MISTRESS By Karyn Gerrard
Release date: April 7th, 2015
Approx: 29,700 words
KG Publishing

Forget the horrors. Remember...me.

A shivering young woman leans against a lamppost in the most notorious street of ill repute in all London. For Asher Colborne, Baron of Wenlock, this is a haunting vision of beauty and wretchedness. Uncharacteristically halting his carriage, he is shocked to discover the thin, dressed-in-rags creature is none other than Chastity Armitage, a beautiful angel who captured his heart at a grand ball more than two years past. For Colborne, her circumstance is a mystery he feels honor bound to unravel.

Chastity and her siblings have been on the run for more than two years. Desperate for food and lodging money, she is forced to sell herself. She never expected a tall, handsome man to appear as if from mist and change her life forever. She is given a choice, continue down the path of never ending poverty or become the baron's mistress.

Though they are both determined the arrangement remain an emotionless business transaction, the attraction between them is scorching. Many barriers and obstacles lay in Chastity and Ash's path. Can the baron and the mistress embrace true love?

Heat Level: Very Sensual

Excerpt: Chastity could not believe she allowed the well-dressed gentleman to take her away in his carriage. They did not go far nor did they speak during the short journey. They both sat in a private room at The Pig and Whistle tavern. Her stomach rumbled. The man, who introduced himself as Ash and insisted she call him by that name, ordered beef stew, ale, and extra bread and cheese.
Fifteen shillings? The obscene amount still rattled about in her bewildered brain. With proper planning the money would keep her and her brother and sister comfortable for some weeks. What in God’s name did he wish to do with her? Or to her? What perverse act would she be subjected to? His intense stare made her uncomfortable. This Ash was too handsome by far. After removing his hat and gloves, he ran his hand through his black-as-midnight hair. His eyes were the color of a fine cognac and the gleam of lust that shone from them sent waves of heat through her body. Ash removed his cloak. The silver lining appeared to be the finest silk. His tall frame was perfectly proportioned and how well it filled out the excellently tailored evening wear. A smartly tied silver cravat about his neck completed the look and he did look every inch the rake. Chastity caught a whiff of expensive cologne. The scent of bergamot and lemon invaded her nostrils. Her stomach dipped precipitously. Dear heaven, I find him attractive? Not wise. Chastity’s gaze darted about the small room trying to find a quick escape route.
“What is your name, my sweet?”
His voice was deep, resonant, and cultured. A sensual baritone as rich as melted dark chocolate. Should she give her name? What would it matter? “Chastity.”
The man’s eyes widened briefly as he shifted in his seat, but his concentrated gaze did not waver. “Interesting choice of name for a prossie.”
Fury boiled quick and hot in her veins. “It’s my real name and I’m not a...a...prossie!”
The corner of his mouth quirked in amusement. “Of course not, even though you offered me a quick tup—for coin.”
Chastity’s cheeks burned in humiliation. Before she could answer, the door burst open and the barmaid carried in a tray of foodstuffs. The tantalizing aroma of beef, grilled onions, and fresh bread made her salivate. For a meal such as this and fifteen shillings, she would agree to anything. And she would bet this arrogant, handsome man knew it.
