About Me

KARYN GERRARD

Karyn Gerrard, born and raised in the Maritime Provinces of Eastern Canada, now makes her home in a small town in Northwestern Ontario. When she’s not cheering on the Red Sox or travelling in the summer with her teacher husband, she writes, reads romance, and drinks copious amounts of Earl Grey tea.

Even at a young age Karyn’s storytelling skills were apparent, thrilling her fellow Girl Guides with off-the-cuff horror stories around the campfire. A multi-published author, she loves to write sensual historicals and contemporaries. Tortured heroes are an absolute must.

As long as she can avoid being hit by a runaway moose in her wilderness paradise she assumes everything is golden. Karyn’s been happily married for a long time to her own hero. His encouragement and loving support keeps her moving forward.

Words of Praise for Karyn Gerrard's books:

Ms. Gerrard can always put a well written and plausible plot, and her prose is wonderful, but it’s the chemistry between her characters that keep me glued to her books. Highly recommended! ~Bookworm2Bookworm ~Bold Seduction

His Wicked Celtic Kiss is the perfect afternoon read - complete with one molten hot Irishman and a heroine that every woman can relate to! The story moved at just the right pace with a delicious combination of tension and heat. I loved that it can be read as a standalone but that it also revisits with characters from the first book in the series – The Wicked Bad. Certainly Karyn at her wicked best

"Packing all of that characterization and emotional impact into a short story of less than twenty-one thousand words shows Karyn Gerrard's formidable writing talent, and makes her my new must-read author." Gaele reviewing for ~The Jeep Diva ~The Governess and the Beast

"Wow, just wow. What a fun and unique concept mixed with some pretty hot romance. I absolutely adored this story. Cailin and Skye are both wonderful characters." Shari V ~My Highlander Cover Model

"5 STARS! A mix of Beauty & The Beast, Frankenstein and The Portrait of Dorian Gray. Set in 1895. Dark and slightly Gothic in style with great writing. An original story and lots of steamy scenes. Can't wait for the next book in the series (this can be read as a stand-alone) I love all this author's books!" ~Sandra R. Beloved Monster

Timeless Heart is excellent. The real surprise is that I never expected a time travel romance to have such humor and insight. Karyn Gerrard is amazing in the way she deals with a person from the past being astonished with all our modern conveniences, most of which we take for granted! The romance between Jerrod and Sandra is beautifully done, with sizzling hot sex scenes that start off as lust but quickly build into more. Timeless Heart is highly recommended~ ~Sizzling Hot Books  Timeless Heart

The Baron and the Mistress by Karyn Gerrard wasn’t anything like I expected. I’ve read quite a few books by this author, and I love how she mixes humor with all the sexy hotness. I have to say this book was a bit different and had a twist I never saw coming.~Rakes of Romance~The Baron and the Mistress

5 STARS: WOW! My preconceived notions for this book where blown away. I went looking for a book with a different twist and this was definitely it. BELOVED BEAST (The Ravenswood Chronicles, #2) by Karyn Gerrard is a mix of gothic horror, historical WWII romantic suspense and historical WWII spy novel. Even though this is the second book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone with all the information the author has seamlessly peppered throughout this book.I could not put this book down. The concept made it unique and yet it also read as a traditional historical romantic suspense. ~review by Avonna Loves Genres
