    My favorite Xmas treat... Hmmm, I don't really have one because I love all the food. This is the time of year I indulge in a little bit if everything. Then, come January I start (well, I should say try) watching what I eat. Great post!

    Every year I bake (and I use the term 'bake' loosely) Forgotten Cookies. They are meringues with chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Love them!

  8. I bake rum cakes during the holidays. As a matter of fact, a co-worker asked me today when I am bringing one in to work! LOL. I think everyone catches a buzz from them.

  12. Peppernuts, anise cookies, have always been a favorite when my dad was alive. My husband doesn't care for them so I don't make them any more. Time to find a new favorite! I found a recipe for cinnamon pinwheel cookies that look good.
