So, Just What Do I Write?

Romance. Considering I am not exactly young, I came to this genre late in life. A voracious reader, I never really got involved in any romance novels at all. I picked up a couple of second hand romances about 3 years ago, and I have not looked back.

In those 3-4 years, I have read hundreds of titles, have boxes of used romances in my closet, some I haven't even read yet. I have 3 completed full manuscripts, 1 historical, 1 historical/paranormal, 1 contemporary. I have another contemporary 84% done.

I am also working on a couple of 25,000 word stories I want to submit to some ebook publishers, a paranormal, and the other is a time-travel fantasy.

I can't explain why I took to this genre, and why after so many years of starting stories and never finishing them, I seem to be able to write AND finish a MS within the romance genre.

Romance fuels our world. And romance novels keep the romance alive in our busy lives, lives that so often get bogged down with those vile tasks we are obligated to do on a daily basis.
Escape.
Immerse yourself.
If there is no romance in your life at the moment, you can get a dose with a romance novel. And if you do have love/romance in your life, reading a romance novel can enhance and make you appreciate what you do have.
I am having fun. I enjoy this, a lot.

My Goal? Finish edits on the time-travel short and submit by March 16th.
Fingers crossed.
