MONDAY MAN CANDY: Navy Seals Washed up On a Beach~

How come I never have these guys wash up on any beach I happen to be on? Great shot. Get the nets!!

Navy SEAL Triathlete, what is it with these guys and water, oh yeah! They are Seals! As you can image, romance blogs  are all a twitter over these guys, I know there are a few romance novels out there with Seals as the hero, I haven't read them.

Here's one! Heard good things about this book, also BONUS!!! Jed Hill on the cover, God, that bod! Yes, forgive me, my blog, my drool!

You can tell Jed is a ex-football player, look at those hands!!  hero in this book is ex-Navy Seal, got good reviews

BLURB:

While investigating border violence in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Denver journalist Natalie Benoit is caught in a bloody ambush and taken captive. Alone in the hands of ruthless killers, she will need every ounce of courage she possesses to survive.

Betrayed by another operative, Deputy U.S. Marshal Zach McBride has endured a week of torture and interrogation at the hands of a bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartel. Ready to give his life if he must, he remains unbroken—until he hears the cries of an American woman.

Although Natalie is only a voice in the darkness of their shared prison, her plight brings renewed strength to Zach’s battered body. With her help, he overpowers their captors, and they flee through the desert toward the border, the attraction between them flaring hotter than the Sonoran sun.

But past loss and tragedy leave both of them reluctant to follow their hearts, even when the passion between them reaches its breaking point. Faced with feelings neither expected, they fight to stay ahead of the danger that hunts them as forces more powerful than they can imagine conspire to destroy them both…

BLURB:

Navy SEAL Clint “Iceman” McIntire didn’t earn his nickname by being a coward. Or a quitter. Having crushed an infamous drug cartel in Colombia, Clint was nothing short of an American hero. Now he’s home, on a much-needed leave, but instead of some R&R, he finds himself neck-deep in trouble with his best friend’s little sister, Morganna Chavez, the only woman who has the power to bring him to his knees...

Morganna has been secretly working with the DEA to uncover a thriving date-rape drug, which leads her to a shadowy faction that is more deadly than anything her team has ever encountered. Now it’s up to Clint to keep this beautiful, determined agent out of harm’s way, even while the passion between them threatens to consume them. Soon Clint’s greatest mission will be not just keeping Morganna safe, but getting her into his arms and never letting
go.

Personally, I don't read Romance mystery/suspense/adventure as a rule, but Seals? I may just give it a whirl!

Have a good week~

  1. Oh my God, those men! slobber, drool, sigh. I'd be hard pressed to find these guys washed on my beach beach but I'll be keeping my eyes open from now on.

The books you mention have my interest, with men like that in them I'm itching to find out more.

Braking Point sounds good. Might have to look into that one. Who wouldn't want to be rescued by a Navy Seal. I think I'd faint in their arms! lol

  8. Jennifer,

Since they are in the water and they have washboard stomachs, get the laundry out!

I did hear good things about Breaking Point, LOL! I think I would faint dead away as well. They make perfect heroes.
